About Us

Since the Bosnian Pyramids were discovered in 2005, there has been tremendous worldwide interest but surprisingly little media coverage or exposure of this remarkable discovery. However, along with a group of enthusiasts, we have (over the last six years) supported the man who discovered the Pyramids, Dr. Sam Osmanagic, by acting as volunteers and then enlisting the help of certain specialists, notably in Healing. You can visit the Pyramids or come specifically to experience healing, either independently (see Healing section) or as part of a Group (see Expedition section). Either way, Bosnian Pyramid Healing (BPH) is here to help and advise you. One of the most extraordinary discoveries surrounding the Bosnian Pyramids is that of a labyrinth of tunnels (known as Ravne) which start 2.5 kilometres from the Pyramid of the Sun. Although the Pyramids themselves have been dated at 29,000 years old (and are believed to be the oldest on the planet) it is not known exactly how long ago the tunnels were built. However, it is known that approximately 5,000 years ago the tunnels were blocked up with a mixture of sand, gravel and quartz. It is not known why or by whom the tunnels were blocked, but it may have been to conceal them or to contain their energy. Work has been going on for six or seven years to clear the tunnels, and although only 0.8km has been cleared to date, we have recently reached the point where the tunnels appear to be accessible. It is hoped that this now will take us quickly to the base of the Pyramid of the Sun. The healing effects on the body and mind after spending a short time in the tunnels are quite extraordinary and are believed to be the result of

  • The presence of Negative ions of 18,000 per cc (as opposed to around 400 – 500 per cc in most towns and cities)
  • The Schumann resonance of 7.83 Hz, which is the perfect resonance of the human body and mind, playing an important part in the harmony between the earth’s magnetic field and the human magnetic field
  • The Bovis reading in the tunnels of 25,000 (the reading for an averagely healthy person is only 5,000)

Tumulus at Vradnika

The Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids represents the biggest complex of pyramidal structures in the World. It consists of the Pyramid of the Sun (over 220 metres in height – larger than the Cheops pyramid) as well as Pyramids of the Moon (190 metres) and the smaller Pyramids of the Dragon and Pyramid of Love. An ancient Temple has also been discovered adjacent to the complex: The Temple of Mother Earth. The Pyramid of the Sun is approximately one third taller than Ancient Egypt’s Great Pyramid. The Pyramid of the Sun is constructed from five thick layers of concrete (sandstone slabs that are almost one metre thick per layer), with each layer containing a fifteen centimetre layer of clay in between. Underneath the concrete and clay, the inner Pyramid consists of sandstone blocks.

In the Valley of the Bosnian Pyramids in the town of Visoko, closest to the Pyramid of the Moon, a tumulus has been found in the village of Vratnica. A tumulus is a mound of earth, usually placed over a prehistoric tomb. The Tumulus of Vratnica is a 32 metre-high, man-made hill, and was discovered in 2008. An exposed clay and concrete, megalithic block was found, which was discoloured by its contact with the elements. Soon after this discovery, more blocks were found, which led to what appeared to be a huge megalithic terrace and, possibly, a gateway to the Bosnian Pyramids.

Pyramids of Sun, Moon and Dragon form a perfect equilateral triangle with 2.170 metres distance between their tops. All Pyramids are oriented toward the cosmic North. Fifty-five leading scientists from 13 countries concluded during the First International Scientific Conference on the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids in August 2008 that the Pyramids are significant archaeological phenomena and that further scientific investigation is needed.

Geo-radar and thermal analysis confirmed the existence of passageways and chambers inside the Pyramids. Sample analyses of rectangular blocks from the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun at the Institutes for Materials in Bosnia, Italy and France have confirmed that the blocks were man-made as concrete blocks of exceptional quality. According to the radiocarbon dating (Poland, 2011) and pedological analysis (Bosnia, 2006) the Pyramids were built over 10.000 years ago. The underground labyrinth is tens of kilometres long and consists of passageways, chambers and artificial lakes.
Dr. Semir Osmanagic

Dr. Semir Osmanagic

Dr Semir (‘Sam’) Osmanagic is the person credited with the discovery of the Bosnian Pyramids in Visoko: he has established the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation. His Ph.D thesis concerned the Mayan civilisation, and today he teaches Anthropology, with a specialisation in Bosnian megalithic sites, at the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spends time in Houston, Texas, working as a researcher and author. Dr Sam Osmanagic has written ten books about ancient civilisations such as the Mayan World, Pacific, Mexican, Ancient European, Peruvian and African civilisations. He has been admitted to one of the most respected scientific institutions in the world: the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (Moscow) as a Foreign Member. He is also a Member of the Archaeological Society of Alexandria. His first International Scientific Conference about the Pyramids took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in August 2008. He is an advocate for archaeological tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and holds lectures to promote the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids Project worldwide.

Beneath the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids there is an extensive underground tunnel and chamber network which runs for a total of more than ten miles, connecting all pyramids and other places together. This underground labyrinth, known as Ravne, has been shown to have the most extraordinary healing benefits for reasons which we will detail shortly. From in the very beginning (on discovery of an entrance) it was found that all side tunnels were closed off by stone walls and filled up with river bed material. It took a lot of time and work to remove some of them and take the fill material out. Following a tunnel that lead to the Pyramid of the Sun, they stumbled upon two open tunnels with water in it. They also had side tunnels that were walled of. One led to the Pyramid of the Sun. The entire tunnel was clear, with stone walls at the sides, and fresh water upstream. As the ceiling dropped, they continued to explore with a flat boat until the height was too small. It looks like this was a channel from a water well which starts under the pyramid. See below for pictures.

The tunnels are color coded: light blue is 5 meters ( 15 feet) under the surface, white is 10 meters (30 feet) deep, blue is 40 meters ( 120 feet) deep, brown is 70 meters (210 feet) deep, yellow is 150 meters (450 feet) deep, black is 180 meters (540 feet) deep, red is 350 meters (1050 feet) deep. The circles are rooms or hollow spaces. Experts from all over the world, including Dr. Slobodan Mizdrak, a physicist from Croatia and Dr. Harry Oldfield, have come to Bosnia and studied and measured ultrasound, infrasound, infrared and electromagnetic fields of unknown origin at the top of the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Among the frequencies detected were the following:
  1. A frequency of 28.4 kHz was detected, according to scientists, this particular frequency is not used in our technologies
  2. Researchers also detected a Schumann resonance of 7.83 kHz, which is the most beneficial and optimal for physical, mental and spiritual health of human beings
  3. The negative Ions and healing properties in the labyrinth of tunnels, have an average of 18,000 ions per cubic cm, even reaching 25-40,000 in some places
  4. The Bovis reading is 25,000 compared with that of a normally healthy person of 5,000 and these offer the ultimate healing properties

The healing effects of the underground tunnels plainly owe their healing properties to each of the above.

Our Director, Robin Maclear is also available to talk to you if you require more general information about the Pyramids or to tailor-make your reservations.

Robin Maclear is an international businessman with a keen interest in Earth energy and holistic treatments, having studied them for many years.

This project was conceived for three reasons:

  1. To support the Bosnian Pyramid Foundation and raise awareness bringing the ongoing discoveries to a wider audience.
  2. To provide people with tours to the area for the purpose of development of Mind, Body and Spirit and any necessary healing.
  3. To provide research facilities and bring a network of people together from different fields to utilise and investigate the unique sources of energy present at the Bosnian Pyramids.

He has also a keen interest in sustainable tourism and responsible agriculture. Along with like-minded friends, he has long recognised the need for urgent reforestation and to this end has set up a parallel project in the same area to develop Paulownia plantations. Paulownia is the fasted growing tree in the world and one that provides the highest quality of hardwood.  It is hoped that this will provide a continual source of employment for young people in Bosnia, currently looking for work.  Also see womenworkinginromania.com.
